The award ceremony was held at the Greater Goodwill AME Church.

-$1200 scholarships were awarded for 1st place to:

•Dawn Richardson, Hanahan High School. She plans to attend Lander College. She is a member of Stewart Chapel United Methodist Church.

•Preston Robert Myers, Lincoln High School. He plans to attend the College of Charleston. He is a member of Greater Mt Zion AME Church.

•Katrina Garland, Wando High School. She  plans to attend Bethune-Cookman University. She is a member of The Garden of Prayer Church.

-$750 Scholarships  were awarded for 2nd place to:

•Tempest Shaw, Hanahan High School. She plans to attend Clemson University. She is a member of Stewart Chapel United Methodist Church.

•Takeyah C. Powell, Lincoln High School. She plans to attend Francis Marion College. She is a member of Bethel AME Church.

•Bryana K. Spann, Wando High School. She plans to attend The College of Charleston. She attends St. Phillip AME Church.

-$500 Scholarships were awarded for 3rd place to:

•Jasmine Nicole Denmark,  Hanahan High School. She  plans to attend University of South Carolina at Aiken. She is a member of Bethel AME Church.

•Kiyana Brown, Wando High School. She plans to attend University of South Carolina. She is a member of Long Point Missionary Baptist Church.
