Career Day at Sullivan’s Island Elementary

Sullivan’s Island Elementary School hosted its annual Career Day on Friday, April 25.  Students in grades 3-5 had the opportunity to visit different speakers from the community.  

Guest speakers included a news reporter, dentist, chiropractor, meteorologist, interior designer, coast guard, veterinarian, military general, radio broadcaster, and architect.

Guests were: Helen Ravenel from the Moultrie News, Cherie Work from Dr. Jan’s Dentist office, Stephen Khouri from Khouri and Workman Chiropractic, Brad Miller from Live 5 News, Shay Simpson from Riverside Designers, Lt. Morgan Roper and ENS Jim Litzinger from the Coast Guard, Dr. George from George Veterinary Clinic, Josh Maurer from The Riverdogs, Josh Allison from SGM Architects and General Hugh Tant from the military.  

Students enjoyed discovering a variety of career fields.
