ETV to present ‘Finding Money For College'
Wednesday, January 27, 2010

While America's great recession and incessantly bleak economic forecasts continue to make headlines, ETV and the South Carolina Department of Education help students and parents navigate their options for funding a college education.

On Sunday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m., ETV presents 'Finding Money for College.' During this live two-hour program, host Bette Jamison talks with financial aid professionals from public and private colleges and universities in South Carolina. Also joining the conversation will be guidance counselors who will provide advice along with representatives from the South Carolina Higher Education Tuition Grants, South Carolina Student Loan Corporation and South Carolina Commission on Higher Education who will answer questions on accessing scholarships, grants and loans.

Viewers are invited to call in with questions during the live broadcast via a toll-free number that will be announced on air. ETV is South Carolina's statewide network with 11 television stations, eight radio stations and a closed-circuit educational telecommunications system in more than 2,000 schools, colleges, businesses, and government agencies. For information contact Dana McCullough at (803) 737-3212.
