As mentioned on this page last week, this past Saturday the Charleston area played host to one of the many boating events that made up Aquapalooza, a nation wide boating party sponsored by SeaRay boats.
The event was held out on Morris Island, complete with a barge that was moored just off the beach to act as a stage for the bands Uncle Mingo and Soul Fish.
SeaRay/Scout of Charleston sales manager, Jim McClellan, reported to me:
"A little over 400 boats and a good time by all. Never saw any blue lights and no problems that I was aware of. We kept our theme 'Morris Island, enjoy it, don't destroy it' We cleaned up what little trash was there before we left."
