He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. James Knight, III of Mount Pleasant.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jung Sook Kim and the late Mr. Kil Yong Kim and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jong Su Im.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Olene Franks and the late Mr. Caspian Franks and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Knight, Jr.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of James Madison University and a 2009 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law.
She is employed by the U.S. Department of Justice.
The groom-to-be is a 2006 North Carolina State University graduate and a 2011 American Military University graduate. He is employed by the U.S. government.
The couple has planned the wedding for Oct. 15, 2016 at Vienna Presbyterian Church, in Vienna, Va.
