Dozens of community members gathered on the morning of Oct. 14 at Wannamaker County Park to partake in the 5 to Survive: 5K and Memorial Mile Walk hosted by My Sister's House. As in past years, the event celebrated domestic violence survivors in the Tri-County area and beyond. Runners and walkers were treated to survivor t-shirts during the festive affair held annually during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
