The Mount Pleasant Police Department launched its annual 10-week Citizens Police Academy program on April 4 by welcoming civilians to an educational session on law enforcement. Police Chief Mark Arnold (pictured) was among the speakers at the opening event, as cops will appear weekly to touch on assorted topics, such as: Patrol Operations, Traffic Bureau, K-9 Bureau, Criminal Investigations, Crime Scene, Harbor Unit and more.
