2018 IOP Polar Plunge

On Saturday, Feb. 17, The Windjammer hosted their fourth annual Polar Plunge on Front Beach, Isle of Palms. Participants of the event raised funds in donations to support South Carolina Special Olympics. All citizens who plunged included city council members, local/state law enforcement, collegiate sports teams, news outlets and many more.
After the splash, more than approximately $25,000 was raised in total, all proceeds going directly toward South Carolina Special Olympics athletics.
