On Wednesday morning, Bishop England High School participated in National School Walkout, a nationwide movement in which more than 3,000 schools across the country are honoring the 17 victims in the school shooting tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. exactly one month ago this past February.

Bishop England suspended class momentarily at 10:45 a.m for all students and staff to congregate in the school courtyard in prayer for the victims by reciting the Rosary and placing a rose atop each of the victims personal biographies. The students pledged to commit 17 acts of kindness in memory of the 17 people who lost their lives.
