Living and believing: Dunlap to speak at Lifeworks Charleston
Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Roper St. Francis Healthcare has a clear mission: Healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence. Friends of Hospital CEO and President David Dunlap say he lives that message. Join LifeWorks Charleston as they hear first-hand from David Dunlap on these topics. This LifeWorks event is an opportunity to learn how you can apply these Biblical principals in your life and business.

LifeWorks Charleston, a conduit for Christian professionals seeking to successfully apply their faith in the marketplace by providing education and encouragement through biblical teaching, welcomes David Dunlap for a marketplace breakfast Sept. 29 at The Church at Life Park.

A career hospital executive for more than 30 years, Dunlap has served as Roper St. Francis Hospital President and CEO since June 2003. During his tenure, the health care organization has grown to a 657-bed system consisting of 90 facilities and services in seven counties and a medical staff of close to 800 physicians, including Roper St. Francis Physician Partners, a comprehensive network of more than 150 physicians covering a complete range of primary care and 20 subspecialties. Under Dunlap's leadership, Roper St. Francis earned 71 national awards recognizing high levels of patient, physician and employee satisfaction. As a business owner or employee that seeks God's direction on any of these topics through the lens of their professional lives, this is a LifeWorks presentation that should not be missed. Attendees will also hear from LifeWorks Chairman Jamie Jordan on the expanded LifeWorks vision and a community connection update from Danya Jordan, Vice President of development for Water Missions International.

Doors open at 7:15 a.m. with a hot breakfast and will conclude at 9 am.

Reserved seats are available for $20 while reserved tables may be purchased for $140.
