What: Greater Charleston Ski Club (GCSC)

When: Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Red's Ice House on Shem Creek.

What: East Cooper Coffee Group monthly coffee

Where: Rodenberg Chapel.

What: SOA presents "The Music Man"

When: Performances at 6:30 p.m. nightly on Jan 26, 27, 28.

Where: Charleston County School of the Arts, Rose Maree Myers Theater, 5109 Enterprise St., North Charleston.

Details: The cast consists of more than 60 high school actors, singers and dancers, capturing the iconic early 20th-century American tapestry. The show features a 28-piece orchestra under the baton of Suzanne Reed, which promises to be "brisk, fun and a lively woven score," to support these characters and its lovely story. What: Inaugural Wando Chorus adults only oyster roast.

When: Jan. 27, 6:30-11 p.m.

Where: Brickyard Plantation Clubhouse

Details: Enjoy oysters, Sticky Fingers BBQ, sides and adult beverages - including beer, wine and Firefly Distillery Spirits. Also, participate in the Chili Cook-Off by showing off your recipe or just sampling the many flavors and voting for the winner. Tickets are $45 per person for this all-inclusive event. What: Oyster Roast at IOP Exchange Club, "Shuckin' & Shaggin' at Sunset"

Where: Isle of Palms Exchange Club, 201 Palm Blvd.

Details: Enjoy oysters, chili, hot dogs, a silent auction, DJ, and lots of fun. Proceeds support the Exchange Club student scholarship fund. Tickets are $20 advance, $25 at the door. The second program at 11:15 a.m will be a talk by Tim Carens from the College of Charleston on "Love, Idolatry and the Victorian Novel."

What: Christ Our King Open House

Where: Christ Our King-Stella Maris School, 1183 Russell Dr.

Details: The open house is held during Catholic School s Week of Jan. 29 through Feb. 5. All are invited to attend on Welcome Wednesday, Feb. 1. Families, new and interested, current and/or alumni, are welcome to join the school community for light refreshments and the opportunity to tour the beautiful school campus and see the Crusader community in action. What: DivorceCare Christ-Centered Divorce Recovery Group

When: Wednesdays Feb. 1 through April 4 from 6-7:30 p.m. Group dinner is provided at 5:30 p.m..

Details: Become part of a small support group with others who are experiencing separation and divorce. You will receive information on dealing with such common issues as situational depression, anger, loneliness, and financial struggles. Cost is $25.00 for materials. Childcare is provided each week.

What: Franke Chorus rehearsal for their Spring concert.
