Bill Knight and friend Kim Coleman were discussing mommy makeovers and New Year's resolutions.
From there the idea came about as a way to promote women at the Lowcountry Women's Show.
"This will hopefully change a woman's life for the better," Knight said. "The makeover includes a healthy, structured diet plan provided by Lowcountry Beauty and Wellness Spa, a fitness plan professionally built for throughout and more importantly after the 30 day makeover, a nutritional, all natural food plan tailored around her diet provided by Black Bean Company, holistic chiropractic care and massages by Accurate Chiropractic with Dr. Courson to help with soreness and stiffness, Lowcountry Plastic Surgery Center to whiten her teeth and make her feel confident like a school girl again and, last but not least, Vanity Salon with services like hair, spray tan, eye lashes and make up to give her that "look" she may have been wanting to obtain or back to making her look like a million bucks."
Of courses dozens of before and after photos and videos will be made throughout the process, but the winner will make an extreme reveal by bursting onto the cat walk at the Charleston's Women's Show.
The value of this package is more than $5,000 and all services are being donated for free.
Contestants have until Jan. 27 to fill out an application. Once the winner is picked, her 30-day makeover will begin with coverage of her makeover journey with daily diary tweets and Facebook postings.
Her story will be shared in Mount Pleasant Magazine as well as the "green" online version.
