"Suspicious device" found at Alhambra Hall - Bomb squad asked to respond

A suspicious device was located on the bench near the marsh at Alhambra Hall. The Mount Pleasant Police Deparment called in Charleston City EOD (bomb squad) and after sending in their robot they are recommending a hole be dug, and the suspicious device be ignited with diesel fuel. Mount Pleasant Police Chief said his best guess is that the item floated up in the marsh and someone placed it on the bench.
