Jennie Moore Elementary welcomed students back to school with their 5th annual Ice Cream Social. The children enjoyed outdoor games, a jump castle, a cake walk, and hand-dipped ice cream sundaes served up by the school's teachers.
"Our annual Ice Cream Social provides a fun way for families to meet and reconnect with other families while spending a little social time with the teachers," said Event Coordinator Hila Orr.
Principal Karen Felder said, "Our school population has grown since last year and we're excited to have many new faces in the school. We host this every year because it is a great way to welcome new and returning students into our school community and get the year off to a great start."
