Lowcountry wide free youth lacrosse clinic

This Saturday (2/25/12) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Park West fields

Hosted by Mount Pleasant Recreation Department and instructed by the Wando varsity lacrosse team

This clinic is designed to:

-Introduce more lowcountry youth to the legendary sport of lacrosse via Kari Moss, who has been so instrumental in bringing this sport back to the lowcountry both for boys and girls.

-Give brief history of this original American Indian sport by social studies teacher and Wando varsity coach Lance Renes

-Give the Wando varsity players, whose average GPA is 3.5, a chance to give back by introducing this great American sport to the next generation of players

-Bring the lacrosse community together

Also, Wando men's lacrosse season begins on Friday night, February 24th, with JV at 5:00 p.m. and the Varsity at 7:00 p.m., at the Wando Stadium.  Link to full schedule is below .

As this is Youth Night, any youth player who wears his or her lacrosse jersey will get in for free.
