DOROTHY ANN MURRAY, 92, entered into eternal rest on 17 November 2011. Dot resided on the Isle of Palms and Mount Pleasant for the past 27 years.

She was a long time resident of Glen Cove, New York, prior to moving to South Carolina. She was the widow of John B. Murray, Sr.

She is survived by her son, John B. Murray, Jr. and his wife Jean of the Isle of Palms, her daughter, Nicole Ann Murray, of Mount Pleasant, two grandchildren, John B. III of Durango, CO and Kate Stohs of Alexandria, VA.

She was the great grandmother of Emerald and John IV of Durango and Fynn and Ella Grace of Alexandria.

Always in her thoughts was her son Jimmy who preceded her in death in 1968.

A funeral mass will be held at Stella Maris Catholic Church at 1 p.m. on 10 December. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the personnel of Odyssey Hospice for their caring and kindness during Dot's final days.
