Elizabeth Louise Burke Shore
  
Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Burke Shore died peacefully at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC Saturday, November 22,2008. Reverend Worth Greene conducted a graveside service at 2 p.m., Monday, November 24 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church in Winston-Salem.

The family received friends in the church pador immediately after the service.

Mrs. Shore was born in Winston-Salem on November 18,1923 to Lewie Theodore Burke and Helen Louise Peddycord Burke. She was a lifelong member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. She retired from Sears after a 38-year career of serving generations of loyal customers in the Ladies Ready-to-Wear department

In retirement Louise enjoyed her grandchildren, church, caring for friends, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Woodrow Shore.

She is survived by her son, Richard D. (Dick) Trammell and his wife, Carolyn, of Mount Pleasant, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Richard D (Bo) Trammell, Jr. and his wife Courtney Thompson-Trammell, of Bat Cave, and Helen Krisrin Trammel! Cummings and her husband, Bobby Cummings, of Sullivan's Island, SC; two great-grandchildren. Tanner Burke Cummings and Kennan Elizabeth Cummings of Sullivan's Island, a brother, William Stanley Dunn and his wife, Linda, ofDavidson County; nephew Bobby Dunn and his wife Lateah, of Advance, NC; niece Marde Louise Dunn, of Davidson County; first cousins, Mary Dee Maiek, of Jamestown, NC, Dottie Ann Hayes, of Clemmons, NC; lifelong best friend, Lucy Robertson, of Winston-Salem.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard Fund, 4440 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
