Donna S. Hoxworth, 62, of Santee, SC and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009.  Funeral services for Donna S. Hoxworth were held  Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 1:00 o’clock.  Burial followed in Ocean Grove Cemetery in the “Old Village” of Mt. Pleasant.  The family will received friends at Stuhr’s Mount Pleasant Chapel on Monday, July 13, 2009.

Donna was born on July 17, 1946 in Liberty County, Georgia, daughter of the late Marguerite Hickman Todd and Eugene Nicely.  

Donna was a retired kitchen manager in the restaurant business.  She was a loving, giving and gracious lady.  Even though she suffered greatly over the last several years, she never complained.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  

She is survived by her son, Billy Joe Stevens, Jr.; a granddaughter, Brittany Taylor Stevens; a grandson, Andrew Stevens; two sisters, Sandra Irvine (Larry) and Linda Murray (Carl), a step daughter, Debbie Gravermoen (Les); four nephews, Robert L. Irvine, III (Kelly), Matthew Sullivan (Tara), Jamie Bradford and Justin Murray; two nieces, Christy Belcher (Shawn) and Kimmie Bradford; great nieces and nephews, Alyssa Belcher, Casey Grace Belcher, Chase Belcher and Hadley Jane Irvine;  brother in law, Gene Hoxworth and an uncle, Tom Cannon.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, David Hoxworth and her brother, Jimmy Bradford.
