Beth was born on November 10, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Bettie Norfleet Wieter and the late Chanson Adolph Wieters. She was a Professional Dog Groomer, having worked with "For Pet's Sake." A former Parrot Head, honorary Turtle Team member, Beth love fly-fishing, gardening, painting, and all arts and crafts. She was always interested in animals, music, and loved the mountains. Beth loved her home and took great pride in decorating it and making it a welcoming place to all her friends and family/ One of the joys of Beth's life was having a good time. She possessed a quiet faith in God and lived that faith through giving to other people.
She is survived by her partner, Sue Hogan of Mount Pleasant, SC; her mother, Bettie Norfleet Wieters of Mount Pleasant, SC; her daughter, Acadia R. Hughes of Texas; three grandchildren; her brother, Chanson Adolph Wieters, Jr. of Clemmons, NC; and a number of nieces.
