Wando Monday Morning Quarterback Club
Tuesday, August 24, 2010

The Mount Pleasant Football Association (MPFA) has been formed to provide supplemental funding for the needs of the public football entities of Mount Pleasant. The ultimate goal of MPFA is to help provide the best possible football experience for the youth of our town.

As a start, MPFA has developed the Monday Morning Quarterback Club Breakfast.

The club will meet every Monday following each Wando regular season game (with the exception of Labor Day).

During these breakfast meetings Wando head football coach, Jimmy Noonan, will provide commentary on the previously played game, introduce us to star player(s) of the week, and provide insight to the next game.

In addition to the updates on Wando, MPFA will provide insight on progress within our youth football program and is working to secure special guest speakers throughout the season.

In the end, these breakfast events are a means to creating a high level of excitement for football and supporting our young athletes.

Local business owner and football fan Harry Seel has graciously opened his restaurant for our MPFA - Monday Morning Quarterback Club Breakfast.

Seel's on Sullivan's is located at 2213-B Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.

Meetings will be 7:30-8:30 a.m. in order to get everyone off to work and school in time.

We will collect a $10 entry fee at the door, or waive the fee for those that join MPFA.

Mount Pleasant Football Association is seeking additional sponsors to support these important events.

For more information about sponsorship opportunities please contact the MPFA High School Coordinator, Garrett Sizer at sizerg@yahoo.com.
