The Fulghum team won on a playoff at The Groggy Darby/Dick Jones annual golf tournament.
The Ed Darby team and the Ferguson and a Fulghum team tied at 20 under.
Ed Darby is the son of Groggy Darby. The third place team was the Town of Mount Pleasant team at 18 under.
The Darby and Jones families recognized the tournament committee of Al Hutchinson, Elton Carrier, Tommy Fowler, Bobby Miller and Jimmy Bagwell. Mount Pleasant Mayor Harry Hallman welcomed everyone and spoke some kind words about Dick and Groggy. East Cooper Meals on Wheels and the Citadel Athletics Departments thanked the golfers for their generous donations over the past four years that totaled over $36,000.
The tournament was held at Snee Farm Country Club.
