Yandle, Gipe wed in ceremony

Mrs. Jeffrey Stewart Yandle

Sarah Walker Gipe of Mount Pleasant and Jeffrey Stewart Yandle of Charleston were married October 18, 2015 at Boone Hall Plantation, Mount Pleasant, S.C. The Reverend John Zahl officiated the five-thirty ceremony. A reception followed at The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller Anderson, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Timm Wesley Gipe all of Mount Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ellen Maddrey Davis and the late Charles Walker Davis, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. Martha Mills Anderson and the late Henry Miller Anderson of Charleston, the late Saramae Venable Gipe of Charleston and the late Julius Fletcher Gipe of Indiana. A graduate of Wando High School and The College of Charleston, she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and is a real estate agent with Gipe Partners at Carolina One in Mt. Pleasant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart Yandle of Charleston. He is the grandson of Mrs. Bobbie Primm Yandle and the late Stewart Watson Yandle of Charleston. A graduate of West Ashley High School and Elon University, he earned a B.A. in Psychology and is self- employed.

The bride’s attendants were Devon McKelvey Adams, Laura Yandle Giovannini, sister of the groom, Lindsay Sarah Gipe, Martha Reagan Moseley and Baker Locklear Snider, all cousins of the bride. Children attending the bride were Alexandra Hariri, Ava Hariri, Grayson Hariri, Clair Connell, Laine Connell, Adeline Connell, all nieces of the bride, William Connell, nephew of the bride, Grace Golden and Wilson Golden, god-children of the bride, and Madeline Giovannini, niece of the groom, served as Flower Girl.

Donald A. Hutson, Jr. served as best man. Groomsmen included H. Miller Anderson, III, brother of the bride, Jason Benoit, Michael M. Giovannini, brother-in-law of the groom, and Patrick C. Runey, Jr. Music was provided by Holy City Brass Quintet, Bill Nuttall as Bagpiper and a special solo by Caroline W. Moore, cousin of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at The Maritime Center on the Charleston Harbor. The couple honeymooned in Seabrook Island.
