Julian Smith's Mint Julian

Charleston Hospitality Group (CHG) has announced that in honor of good friend Julian Smith, executive director of the Cooper River Bridge Run, all CHG restaurants will offer a signature drink – the “Mint Julian” – for a limited time, with $10 from each drink benefiting the Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC in Julian Smith’s name.

While Giving Tuesday has now passed, the spirit of giving should continue. By purchasing a $20 “Mint Julian” made with the traditional Mint Julep ingredients including Maker’s Mark, simple syrup and mint leaves, customers will simultaneously be giving $10 to Glioblastoma research.

Smith, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in May 2018, is asking Charleston residents – “If you’re going to drink, why not drink for a cause?”

Drinks may be purchased for a limited time at all CHG restaurants including Tabbuli and Queology (Charleston), Toast (Charleston, Summerville, West Ashley and Mount Pleasant), Eli’s Table (Charleston) and HonkyTonk Saloon (Ladson).
