Strawberry picking, pie eating and whirling carnival rides, along with two friendly competitions for Miss Berry Princess and Little Mr. John Deere were just a few of the family-friendly activities at this year's Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation. 

The Mr. John Deere Contest was held May 1. It was emceed by Dave Williams with ABC News 4.

The 2021 winner of Little Mr. John Deere was Jonathan Douglas Provan, 3 years old, of Summerville.

Izach Lucas Ricare (3), Ezra Malcher (5), Draco Liam Gatchalian (5), Cooper Cooke (3), Drew Hopkins (3), and Hardy Dietrich (4).

Judges for the event were: Teresa Rauth, Assistant to the President of Boone Hall Plantation, Inc.; Deputy Josh Thompson, Charleston County Sheriffs Department; Harris Hiers, owner of H & H Drywall & Painting; and Bill Webb, Boone Hall Plantation Trustee.

The Miss Berry Princess Contest was held May 2 and was emceed by Abigail Watson, Treasurer of Boone Hall Plantation Inc.

The 2021 Miss Berry Princess was Zuri Isabella Piercey, 5 years old, of Charleston.
