Dockery’s announced the acquisition of Daniel Island Dinners and the addition of chef Todd Ladd to the Dockery’s culinary team. Ladd will oversee and operate the expanding catering, food truck and in-home dining services of Dockery’s and will manage off-site events for the restaurant.

By blending the incredible catering and in-home dining experience of chef Ladd and the large kitchen experience of Dockery’s executive chef Andy McLeod, the Dockery’s team will be better able to serve an expansive menu of locally sourced, sustainable food offerings throughout the Daniel Island and Charleston communities.

“Collaborating with chef McLeod and the talented culinary team at Dockery’s will elevate us all in continuing to offer remarkable dining experiences and allowing me the resources to expand my clientele here on Daniel Island which I have been so grateful to serve over the years,” Ladd said.

Dockery’s catering service, now complete with Ladd’s mobile kitchen, is available for corporate and private catering services throughout the Lowcountry from weddings to reunions and other functions. In addition to events that can be served from the food truck, the Dockery’s team will be working together to provide private in-home dining experiences to small groups, bringing a culinary and service team into a person’s home and preparing a meal for them in their own kitchen.

“Todd has really gotten to know the Charleston catering world over the past couple of years,” McLeod said. “I know his experience will contribute to Dockery’s growth as we continue to serve our local community.”
