Wando was shut out by Dutch Fork, 45-0, in the second round of the Class AA playoffs Friday in Irmo.

The Warriors generated just 109 total yards of offense against a Silver Fox defense that’s allowing just nine points per game this season.

Dutch Fork senior quarterback Ty Olenchuk, a Clemson baseball signee, threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns. Olenchuk hit senior Jalin Hyatt, a Tennesee signee, five times for 68 yards and all four scores. Hyatt became Dutch Fork’s all-time leader in receiving yards in the game with more than 3,300 in all.

Dutch Fork led Wando 20-0 after the first quarter and took a 39-0 lead into the fourth.

Wando finishes its season 8-4 overall.

The three-time defending state champion Silver Foxes advanced to play undefeated Fort Dorchester in the AAAAA state quarterfinals Friday in North Charleston.
