The Mount Pleasant Track Club competed in the USATF Region 4 Track Meet July 4-7 in Rock Hill, S.C. at Winthrop University. Region 4 consists of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. There were over 100 teams represented. MPTC won the meet, scoring 682.5 points to second place Drive Phase (488 points) and Quicksilver (410 points), both out of Georgia. MPTC won the 8 and under boys, 9-10 boys, 11-12 boys and 13-14 boys age groups. MPTC had 16 Region Champions:

MPTC had 56 athletes in 92 events advance to the USATF Nationals in Sacramento, Calif. on July 22-29. Of the 56, 43 athletes will travel to California to compete with the best in the nation. In addition to the above Region Champions, the following athletes are traveling to the Nationals.
